Borrego Springs: Chuckwalla Wash

Access	From Borrego on Highway 78 mile 75, the first dirt road on the left. Follow the rough road to the end. You probably need a high clearance car.

A nice easy wash uphill.

Go straight into to canyon, take a rocky canyon to the right just before a dry waterfall.

Head south. Out of the wash is sometimes the best place to hike further.
The hills are a bit slippery at times.

Once in the wash head uphill. (Right / South West)
The wash is easy to walk on. We stopped close to the end of the canyon when the canyon was blocked by boulders. But not to hard to pass and you probably can make is somewhat further along the canyon.
