  • A beautiful hike steeply uphill.

After 0.5 Hour, on a slow climbing trail, the hike goes steeply up the right hand side of the canyon.

The trail keeps climbing most of the way. The trail is rocky, with some small boulders.Closer to the end, the trial follows a couple of ledges, that are a bit slippery, especially on the way back.

If you are afraid of heights, these parts may give some problems. Slippery rock and you can see way down into the canyon to the left.

We stopped at a saddle, a nice turning point for a day hike.
But the trail doesn't stop here, this is probably the halfway point.

Not something for a hot day. Because of the slippery ledges, a rainy day, is also a bad idea.
