  • The trial starts at a small and at times very busy parking lot. The trail [Cathedral Rock] heads straight up to the foot of Cathedral Rock.
A busy place with people hiking up Cathedral Rock. Don't go up, but go to the right [Templeton] and around Cathedral Rock.
Going downhill reaching Oak Creek, but don't cross it, a sometimes busy place with lots of people in and by the water. At a crossing go to the left [Baldwin] around a butte. After a while we can see Oak Creek Village.
Follow the trail [Baldwin] until you reach the crossing [Templeton] where the loop is finished and the trail heads back to the beginning.
