The trial starts at a large parking lot, close to a large resort. The resort does not improve the views of the otherwise beautiful canyon.
The first part of the trail follows the border of the resort, don't follow any trails leading into the resort.
The trail is for the most part, easy to follow as you are in a narrowing canyon.
