The trail starts at a frequently visited attraction, a small hill with views of Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte and Cathedral Rock. After a few minutes on the trail all the people are gone and you have the views all by yourself.
The small airport is nowhere in sight, though it is not far away on top of the Butte to the right. About halfway the trail, you notice the small aircraft's flying low, close to end/beginning of the runway.
The trail continues down and you get a view of the urban part of Sedona.
The end of the trail is quite sudden, as they forgot all about the trail, a couple of feet before the road.
